Prominent Presence of Iran at Pharmtech 2024 Russia: Showcasing Iranian API Capabilities

The Pharmtech 2024 International Exhibition in Russia, one of the largest specialized events in the pharmaceutical industry, hosted the booth of the Kimiya Group companies (Kimiyagaran Emrooz and Parand Darou) as representatives of Iranian Active Pharmaceutical Ingredient (API) manufacturers. These two companies actively participated in the event with the aim of showcasing their technical and production capabilities and expanding commercial cooperation with Russian and international firms.

The joint booth of these two companies, as the only Iranian representative in the API sector, successfully attracted the attention of many visitors. The products displayed at this booth demonstrate Iran’s significant capacity in producing high-quality raw materials and have played a vital role in introducing the country’s pharmaceutical industry to new markets.

During the exhibition, the Economic Representative of the Center for Progress and Development of the Presidency of Iran in Moscow and the Commercial Attaché of the Ministry of Industry, Mine and Trade, Dr. Rahimi, visited the booth. In discussions with company executives, they appreciated the efforts made to develop pharmaceutical exports and emphasized the necessity of government support for Iranian manufacturers to maintain a powerful presence in global markets.

Pharmtech 2024, held from November 19 to 22 in Moscow, provides a venue for knowledge exchange, showcasing pharmaceutical innovations, and developing international cooperation. By leveraging this opportunity, Kimiyagaran Emrooz and Parand Darou have designed comprehensive plans for marketing and introducing their products to target markets.

This presence is a significant step toward strengthening Iran’s non-oil exports, increasing commercial interactions with Russia, and enhancing the status of the country’s pharmaceutical industry on the global stage.
