General Description
Codeine phosphate monohydrate is from a category of opioids which target the opioid receptors.
Opioids mimic the endogenous peptide effect on the Mu, Kappa, and Delta receptors.
It is usually formulated with NSAIDs to enhance its effect in pain management.
Its crystalline form facilitates its free-flowing and easy compressibility in tabletting processes.
