General Description<\/span><\/h3>\n

Omeprazole is a proton pump inhibitor used to reduce gastric acid production. It is widely prescribed for treating gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD), peptic ulcer disease, and Zollinger-Ellison syndrome. It allows the esophagus to heal and prevents further damage caused by excess stomach acid.<\/p>\n
